is a term that appears in Google Analytics when it comes to analyzing a website’s traffic. The keywords that search engines use on Google to discover a website is a performance indicator. For example, the owner of a blog about travel, could detect through these reports what were the keywords or keywords by which users came to his page.
But in 2011, Google began encrypting ssl-encrypted searches. This made that owner of the blog about travel, stop seeing the keywords that generated the most traffic. Instead, they were marked with the term Not Provided.
