Amazon also commits to funding the costs of the start-up, as well as the equivalent of three months’ gross salary for the participating employee. He adds that the potential annual profit is between 50,000 and 100,000 euros for those partners that operate a fleet of between 20 to 40 vehicles, equivalent to about 30-70 drivers.
Members of the program have discounts on goods and services, including insurance, accounting services or legal support. In addition, they receive technical assistance including an operations manual, driver assistance for road problems and an account manager.
